Academic Scholarships
All scholarship applicants must take the High School
Placement Test on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Academy of
Our Lady High School. Completed scholarship applications
are due in the Main Office at Academy of Our Lady no later
than Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Applications after this
date will not be considered. All letters of recommendation
should be mailed to Academy of Our Lady, c/o Scholarship
Committee, 537 Avenue D, Marrero, LA 70072. Students
qualifying for multiple scholarships will be awarded the one
of greatest value.
8th Grade Scholarships
• Academy of Our Lady Eighth Grade Honor Scholarship
Full tuition for one year
• Academy of Our Lady Eighth Grade Academic Scholarship
$2,000 for one year
• Academy of Our Lady Eighth Grade Merit Scholarship
$500 for one year
9th Grade Scholarships
• Academy of Our Lady Freshman Honor Scholarship
Full tuition each year for four years
• Fiat Voluntus Tua Honor Scholarship
$1,000 each year for four years
• Freshman Academic Scholarship
$800 each year for four years
• Dr. Michele St. Romain Alumnae Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship the student must be the
daughter of an Archbishop Blenk High School Alumna.
$600 each year for four years
• Immaculata Alumnae Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must be the
daughter of an Immaculata High School Alumna.
$600 each year for four years
• Academy of Our Lady Merit Scholarships
$500 each year for four years

Scholarship Criteria
To be considered for a scholarship at Academy of Our Lady
the following minimum requirements are to be met:
• Attend Application Day at Academy of Our Lady on
Saturday, January 12, 2008.
• Have a composite score of 90% or above on the Academy
Placement Test taken in January, 2008.
• Have a 3.0 grade point average or higher in English, Math,
Social Studies, and Science courses taken in 6th, 7th, and
8th grades.
• Have good conduct grades and no major discipline
infractions.
• Submit a completed Scholarship Application to the Main
Office at Academy of Our Lady High School no later than
Wednesday, March 12, 2008.
• Obtain and send two letters of recommendation to
Academy of Our Lady High School, c/o Scholarship
Committee, 537 Avenue D, Marrero, LA 70072,
postmarked no later than Wednesday, March 7, 2007.
• Complete the registration process on time.
Renewal Requirements
Recipients must consistently meet the requirements of the
scholarship. A student must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade
point average on a 4.0 grading scale and have no D’s or F’s in
order to renew her scholarship each year. Students on
attendance or discipline probation may forfeit their
scholarships. |
