Accreditation
Academy of Our Lady is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and approved by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Courses and Electives
Over 100 courses and 60 electives are offered. The flexible schedule system allows students to earn up to 32 credits in four years.
Advanced Placement and Honors Courses
The Academy’s wide selection of Advanced Placement and honors courses prepares the students for success in college, and gives them the opportunity to earn college credits.
Eighth Grade Curriculum
The eighth grade experience allows for a gradual transition into high school life. The Academy of Our Lady offers traditional eighth-grade and accelerated programs. The curriculum ensures that students are prepared for the academic demands of high school.
College Preparation
The Academy has two guidance counselors and two college advisors on staff to ensure that students are prepared for college or a career. The combined scholarships earned for the Classes of 2007 from Archbishop Blenk and Immaculata High Schools exceed 5 million dollars.
Extracurricular Activities
With over 30 clubs to choose from academics, service and spirit, the Academy has an activity to match every girl’s interest.
Athletics
The Academy’s 11 athletic teams compete in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, Division 5A.

Tuition Expenses
Upon acceptance, the student will receive a package which will include information and fees for the 2008-2009 school year.
Listed below are tuition expenses for the current school year.
Registration Fee $ 400.00
Activity Fee $ 125.00
Technology Fee $ 100.00
Tuition $5,000.00
Total Tuition Expenses $5,625.00
All fees must be paid at registration with the exception of the technology fee which can be financed with tuition. The registration fee is nonrefundable and cannot be financed. The registration fee reserves a place in school for the applicant and covers administrative and enrollment costs. Parents have the option of financing the tuition through First Bank and Trust. Those who do not finance tuition are to pay in full by the third week in May, 2008.
During the registration process, all families are required to complete a Parent PARTNERship Form. Participation in the Parent PARTNERship Program helps meet the educational, extra-curricular and maintenance needs of the school that tuition alone does not cover. Participation in the program is required by all families.
