Sister Kathleen Taylor, a visiting Councillor with the Salesian Sisters, graced the Academy with a vist on September 14th.  Sister Kathleen has served her community in a variety of roles, including work as a missionary in Iran and as a provincial in her native country of Ireland.  The Academy's students gathered for an assembly to greet Sister Kathleen, and our theater students performed an energetic skit that featured singing and dancing to honor Louisiana's culture.  Before leaving, Sister Kathleen was given a number of gifts that included a beautiful carnival mask,a king cake, and Mardi Gras necklaces.
