The AOL Softball Team took home the first place trophey at the Thibodaux Tournament this past weekend.  The Penguins defeated Ellender, Assumption, and host team Thibodaux.

In the win against Thibodaux, Michele Lagarde doubled and scored on a throwing error in the top of the fourth inning.  This was the only run scored in the game.  Sarah Bolotte pitched a complete-game shutout, struck out nine, and allowed four singles.

The Penguins will play at Slidell on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.
