Clear and sunny skies helped make March 19th a memorable St. Joseph's Day at the Academy.  Senior religion students, under the direction of Mrs. Bonnie Collins, constructed a beautiful St. Joseph's altar in the courtyard, and the entire student body had an opportunity to pray at the altar and then sample some of the delcious pastries and fruit prepared by students, employees, and other Academy family members.  Deacon Jim Venturella of Immaculate Conception Church opened the celebration by offering a blessing on the altar, and our family then took turns over three lunch breaks to visit the altar.  Mrs. Collins and her students made the event a joy for everyone by refilling the altar between each lunch break.
