Sixteen students from the Cantate and Bel Canto choirs at Academy of Our Lady performed during the Heritage Music Festival in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 19 in conjunction with presidential inauguration festivities. The choirs, which were chosen for the festival by audition, are under the direction of Louise LaBruyere. Read what the students had to say about their historic experience.
