Junior and Senior Science Olympiad Team
Academy science students once again demonstrated their skills and ingenuity at the State Science Olympiad in Hammond. The Junior Team placed fifth overall and earned medals in ten separate competitions. Two groups of juniors won first place in two competitions. In addition, our Senior Team earned medals in six separate competitions.
Our students’ great showing follows an outstanding performance by both the Junior Team and the Senior Team at the Regional Science Olympiad. Congratulations to our students and thanks to our great science teachers who devoted many hours of after-school time to coaching our team members.
