Academy of Our Lady and Archbishop Shaw high schools became co-educational for one day. On Tuesday, January 31, 2012 the two schools will join together to celebrate the feast of St. John Bosco. Academy of Our Lady students in grades eight, nine, and 10 joined the boys on the Archbishop Shaw campus along with the eighth grade students from Immaculate Conception School, Our Lady of Prompt Succor School, and St. Rosalie School. Archbishop Shaw students in grades 11 and 12 joined the girls on the Academy of Our Lady campus. Students on both campuses were treated to breakfast, lunch, games and activities. Father Lou Molinelli, President-Director of Archbishop Shaw celebrated a Mass on both campuses. Dr. Jan Lancaster, Superintendent of Catholic Schools, was the special guest at both Masses. Students had a great day in the Salesian tradition of combining prayer and play!
