The Academy of Our Lady

Propel to new heights

Academic Fair

More than 300 students from Catholic elementary schools on the West Bank participated in the Academy’s annual Academic fair, and the hard work on this big event by the Academy’s National Honor Society paid off.

The event allows local Catholic schools to showcase their students’ talents, and competitors were tested in several subject areas.  Those subjects included spelling, math, reading comprehension, and religion.

The highest scorers on the tests won medals for their subject and trophies for their schools.
Congratulations go out to Immaculate Conception School for a first place win in the overall competition.  Christ the King took second overall, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help finished third.

Thanks again to the National Honor Society, and to Jennifer Sax, moderator, for putting so much time and effort  into this great event.
