Summer @ the Academy is a summer enrichment program for girls entering the 5th through 8th grades in the 2011-2012 school year.
The program is designed to spark creativity and engage the mind.
The following sessions will be offered for Summer 2011:
“Sew” Smart June 13-17, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Calling all future fashion designers! Learn the basic skills of sewing while creating one-of-a-kind pieces including pajama pants!
Super Science June 20-24, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Discover science in a new and exciting way! Conduct experiments in biology, physics, and chemistry.
Food & Nutrition June 27-July1, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
What’s for dinner? Serve up culinary creations while emphasizing the importance of healthy eating!
Crazy Crafts June 27-July1, 12:00-3:00 p.m.
“Art” you ready for some fun? Create and design several pieces including jewelry, décor for your room, and more.
