Accreditation

The Academy of Our Lady is accredited by Cognia and approved by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. It is a part of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

The Culinary Arts Major includes enrollment in the National ProStart Program. Academy of Our Lady is the only Catholic school in Louisiana that participates in this two-year program sponsored by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.


Academy of Our Lady is one of two schools in Louisiana selected for membership in the Engineer Your World program sponsored by the University of Texas at Austin.


Academy of Our Lady is involved as a CRS Global High School. Motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the CRS Global High School Program provides opportunities for Catholic secondary schools to join with CRS to educate about Catholic social teaching and advocate for solidarity with the global poor.
